Currently, MUSC has two (2) new full-time clinical dietitian positions available.
Clinical Dietitian (CD1)
Responsibilities: Develop nutrition assessments and educations for cardiology, GI medicine and CT surgery patients identified to be at nutrition risk, collaborate with members of the healthcare team to develop nutrition care plans, assess enteral and parenteral needs with participation in nutrition support rounds, and serve as a preceptor for the dietetic interns.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree with completion of DPD requirements
- Registration or registration eligible with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Licensed or licensed eligible in the state of South Carolina
- Minimum of 0-2 years experience in clinical nutrition
- Computer and word processing experience
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
Our clinical services are contracted through Sodexho, a food and facilities management service company.
